(1) Concerned users of such forest who want to protect, develop and manage a forest for the collective benefit and use the forest produce may form a user group as provided in this Act.
(2) The consumer groups formed in accordance with sub-section (1) shall be registered in the respective Division Forest Office as prescribed.
(3) In accordance with sub-section (2), the relevant consumer group shall submit an application for registration with the statute attached.
(4) Every year, within three months of the end of the financial year, the user group shall submit the annual report of its activities to the relevant local level and division forest office, including the financial details and the status of the forest, as prescribed.
